Rebirth Tattoo was established in the year 1999 by Vinnie Almanza. The logo consists of a hand holding a bleeding heart surrounded by fire. It was developed to symbolize the Mayan heritage, ancient blood letting rituals which allowed a culture to be reborn, and the belief that tattoo art provided a similar form of healing or rebirth.

WE ARE OPEN!!!

We have finally opened!  It has been a long road but we are here!  We officially turned on our "OPEN" sign on Friday October 29th.  Here are some pictures of the finished rooms...

We are really happy with the way that everything worked out, we just need to get some artwork displayed on the walls.

The first tattoo done in this shop was done on Tuesday November 2nd.

Getting closer....

On one hand it seems like this it taking forever but on the other hand it seems to be cruising right along.  The walls are all painted, the crown molding was put up, the tile has been laid, most of the cabinets have been installed, and the floor has been waxed.  So, what's left?  We have a few more cabinets to install, the front counter will be put in today or tomorrow, then we move our stuff in and call the health department and have them come and inspect and then we should have the green light for our business license and then it is time to OPEN!!!  Can't wait!  This tattoo studio looks awesome!  We will be posting more pics of the progress soon!

Time for some paint...

We were given the go ahead from the contractor last Tuesday September 14th to get in there and get it painted.  Exciting!  We started painting around 2:30 that afterrnoon as soon as the drywaller got out of there and we were able to stay until about 8:00 that night.  We were unable to paint the next day and then the day after that Vinnie headed to the shop in Alaska for the weekend.  He got back to SLC Monday morning and we headed down to paing and were able to get quite a bit done.  Yesterday we pretty much finished with most of the painting, just a few touch ups are needed.  Hopefully next week we will get the floor tiles down and then should be open for business shortly after that...hope the flooring goes smooth!
